I was the kind of kid who used to get in trouble for reading past her bedtime with a flashlight under the covers. “Just one more chapter,” I would beg my mom, and with a knowing smile, she would say OK. It was during those precious moments that my passion for stories was born. 

Whether it’s found between the pages of a book, embedded in the pixels on a screen, or pressed within the creases of a smile, stories are all around us. Stories move us, inspire us, make us laugh and cry, make us view people and places differently… Stories are powerful.

A short documentary sharing my grandparents’ journey from Puerto Rico. A spoken word piece calling attention to the pervasiveness of human trafficking. An anecdote about that one time I got asked to drop a mix-tape. We’re surrounded by stories just waiting to be told and I love to tell them. 

Combined with my passion for advertising, and way-too-much time spent on social media, I use my voice to help others connect, grow, and be moved. 

When I'm not talking to myself (aka working) in coffee shops, you can find me making felt friends (check out @justfelt.likeit on TikTok!), online shopping, video gaming, or singing to my plants.
